This glorious gilded model was hand-made by Ms. Chan and her artisan team with precious teakwood from Burma and covered with three-layer gold leaf for more than three years in 1990s. Ms. Chan also invited many senior experts from Palace Museum like Zhao Chongmao, Piao Xuelin, Wang Zhongjie etc to her workshop for supervision. With diameter of 9m and height of 3.8m, it is completely made according to the original architecture with ancient tenon and mortise structures in proportion of one to ten. This model has great values foe arts and collection for every detail was nearly perfect and every part was closely tight, but dissembled for easy moving.
